Mariah is a trauma therapist in Philadelphia, and the owner of Relational Realm — a therapy practice serving Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut
Hi, I’m Mariah.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree from Columbia University. My expertise also includes an Advanced Therapy Certificate from NYU, post master’s training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
As a trauma therapist, I specialize in adult recovery from childhood attachment wounds. Often, childhood trauma (big or small) shows up in our adult lives. Trauma can manifest as cycles of familiar and frustrating relationship patterns; dating and relationship anxiety; perfectionistic and anxious thoughts and compulsions; co-dependency with family, friends, and partners; and a general sense of dissatisfaction with the way life looks and feels.
I’ve always been fascinated by this phenomenon. You’re fun, grounded, smart, and well connected. You know what you want and how to get it most of the time. However, you struggle to feel a deep sense of self love. Or you struggle to find healthy, secure relationships in which your needs are met. You've yet to find yourself feeling prioritized or valued. I am here to help you change all of that!

I don’t accept insurance in my private practice, but I invite you to explore my group practice, Relational Realm where other clinicians offer sessions at lower price points. While they are also out-of-network, their fees are often more accessible, and we’re happy to provide superbills for potential reimbursement through your insurance.

I am a registered provider with the Pennsylvania Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP).
VCAP helps victims and their families through the emotional and physical aftermath of a crime by easing the financial impact placed upon them by the crime.
Through VCAP, survivors of sexual assault (in childhood or adulthood) are eligible for up to $5,000 in funding for therapy services if the crime occurred in adulthood, and $10,000 if the crime occurred in childhood.
Sexual assault victims seeking counseling services related to their abuse are not required to have reported the assault to police or other authorities to be eligible to receive these benefits.
Offering Clinical Supervision
Looking to grow your skills in a supportive, reflective environment? I offer clinical supervision for therapists seeking guidance in trauma-informed care, attachment-based approaches, EMDR, EFT, and integrating parts work into practice. Whether you're working toward licensure or simply want deeper insight into your cases, supervision is a space to build confidence, sharpen clinical intuition, and stay grounded in the work.
