FAQ

  • Love-Life Therapy does not currently participate “in network” with any insurance companies. However, please see the “use your insurance” button in green at the bottom of this page to determine your out of network reimbursement options.

  • Insurance companies prefer to dictate the methods, frequency, and length of your treatment, and as a trauma therapist I cannot ethically treat you based on someone else’s assumptions of your needs. I love working with anyone for any length of time, and in any way that suits their unique needs. Often, insurance companies require treatment “justification”, asking therapists to prove that someone is “sick” and is not improving yet. I am not OK with this. If you work with me, my main tenet is “you make sense, you are not broken”, and to try and convince an insurance company of the opposite sentiment is against Love Life Therapy’s mission and values.

  • Full transparency, a long ago version of myself was once a burnt out empath who learned the hard way that taking on as many clients as possible did not allow me to be the quality therapist I am today. Now, I very consciously keep my client list low and my therapeutic integrity high! Your care and the quality of your outcomes are my top priority. Even as a highly trained therapist with years of experience, I never stop learning and am constantly reading and training. Therefore, I charge accordingly.

  • Love-Life Therapy is a registered provider with the Pennsylvania Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP).

VCAP helps victims and their families through the emotional and physical aftermath of a crime by easing the financial impact placed upon them by the crime.

Through VCAP, survivors of sexual assault (in childhood or adulthood) are eligible for up to $5,000 in funding for therapy services if the crime occurred in adulthood, and $10,000 if the crime occurred in childhood.

Sexual assault victims seeking counseling services related to their abuse are not required to have reported the assault to police or other authorities to be eligible to receive these benefits.
